Spacecraft Production
Creation of a modern spacecraft assembly facility based on advanced spacecraft assembly, integration and testing technologies will ensure that in the future the Yamal and SMOTR orbital constellations will be replenished with competitive Russian-designed satellites.
Such factors as Gazprom Space Systems experience in implementing space projects, direct interest of the company in creating competitive satellites, available personnel potential and established relations with foreign manufacturers of space equipment make it possible to set up an assembly production of spacecraft based on modern technology.
The modern spacecraft assembly facility based on advanced technologies for assembly and testing of communications satellites and Earth remote sensing satellites provides reduction of costs and time of the spacecraft production. The complete technological cycle of spacecraft assembly and testing is implemented in an assembly facility within one compact production building.
The production capacity is four communication and Earth remote sensing satellites of medium and large dimensions or up to 100 small series satellites for multi-satellite constellations per year.
The project is being implemented at the Gazprom Space Systems site in Shchelkovo, Moscow Region, adjacent to the company's Telecommunication Center.
