The Number of Russian Regional TV Channels on Yamals are Growing
For the last two months three more Russian regional TV channels were launched on Yamal-202 satellite. Thus, now thirty TV channels, uplinked from the Russian regions, are broadcasting via Gazprom Space Systems’ orbital constellation.
For the last two months three more Russian regional TV channels were launched on Yamal-202 satellite. Thus, now thirty TV channels, uplinked from the Russian regions, are broadcasting via Gazprom Space Systems’ orbital constellation.
Two contracts for satellite capacity provision to broadcast the TV channels of Kostroma and Vologda regions were signed with Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting company (VGTRK). This event is the continuation of the long-term cooperation between Gazprom Space Systems and VGTRK. Up to now VGTRK broadcast 4 central and 13 regional TV channels via Yamal satellites.
One more TV channel of Kostroma region is distributed upon the contract with the regional broadcasting company Rus.
