The annual parade of the last trends in media broadcasting technologies, TV and telecommunications markets, newest achievements of broadcasters, operators and manufacturers has been held for the 42nd time.
During this period IBC has witnessed many economic highs and lows. This year official figures are the following: 1,300 exhibitors, including new stands from around the world and 45,547 actual attendees, which, despite the economical crises, is only 7% down on 2008. IBC 2009 show has once again been an important show for everyone. It remains vital in the current climate and continues to exhibit a positive image for the future of our industry.
In its exposition Gazprom Space Systems presented the possibilities of current Satellite Communications System Yamal, the overall concept of its future development and also prospective projects and new services. More than 70 current and potential customers and partners visited GSS stand to discuss cooperation development, overall market trends and to exchange the experience of minimizing the world slowdown impact. It became obvious that almost all the industry players manage keeping its business at the worthy level with may be some reconfiguration in the end users breakdown and geographical destinations of the provided telecommunications services and products.
During the show WTA representatives presented GSS Team with Award «The Corporate Teleport of The Year». This rank, received in the beginning of the year, is the general recognition of the company success on the international market.
