One more contract is signed for satellite capacity provision to serve the African market

Today on the last day of CABSAT 2014 international exhibition Gazprom Space Systems signed one more contract for Yamal-402 satellite capacity provision with Intersat company (Kenya). This capacity will be used to provide the satellite Internet access in Africa.

Today on the last day of CABSAT 2014 international exhibition Gazprom Space Systems signed one more contract for Yamal-402 satellite capacity provision with Intersat company (Kenya). This capacity will be used to provide the satellite Internet access in Africa. Intersat is a known telecommunication services provider, which belongs to Belgian Satellite Services Group and has teleports in Belgium and Kenya.

The contract was signed by Dmitry Sevastiyanov, Director General of Gazprom Space Systems, and by Hanif Kassam, Executive Director of Intersat.


Gazprom Space Systems is one of the two Russian national satellite operators and is part of a group of about fifty satellite operators existing in the world
