Participation of Gazprom Space Systems in AfricaCom 2015 helped to increase sales on the African market

At the 18th annual exhibition AfricaCom 2015, Africa's largest telecom forum, which took place on November 17-19, 2015 in Cape Town (South Africa), Gazprom Space Systems presented the capacity of «Yamal-402» satellite for African and Middle East markets services. High-energy characteristics of the satellite and attractive coverage areas allow provision of high quality telecommunication services within these regions.

Despite the serious competition from global and regional operators, Gazprom Space Systems increases sales on markets outside Russia. Over the past year the company's revenues from the provision of «Yamal-402» and «Yamal-300K» satellite capacity on the international market has doubled, and the main contribution was made by Africa and the Middle East.

Arrangements, reached by Gazprom Space Systems delegation at the exhibition in South Africa, will significantly expand the company's overseas sales.
