Gazprom Space Systems Team at Connected Africa Exhibition

May 26-27 Gazprom Space Systems participated in annual conference and exhibition Connected Africa held in Johannesburg, Republic of South Africa.

The participants and visitors of this event are global and regional satellite operators, teleports, telecommunication service providers, GSM operators.

At this exhibition Gazprom Space Systems offered Southern Beam of Yamal-402 satellite capacity providing optimal coverage of Sub-Sahara Africa. This capacity is under demand in the region and it is used both for domestic TV broadcast and data networks in African continent and implementation of links between Europe and Africa.

The agreements on increase of used satellite capacity amounts were reached with the existing customers at the exhibition.

Apart from that upon the results of work at the exhibition Gazprom Space Systems expects expansion of customers database in African region.

Before and after the event Gazprom Space Systems representatives responsible for sales on emerging markets visited some offices and teleports of its customers and partners based in Johannesburg and suburbs.
