September typically began with the largest global satellite business events in particular attended by Gazprom Space Systems (GSS).

Within the World Satellite Business Week taking place in Paris, on September 9-13th, C-level executives of GSS held a number of meetings with representatives of global and regional satellite operators, satellite service providers, satellite and ground equipment manufacturers and discussed the issues related to the strategic development of the company’s space business.

An exchange of views with experts and attendance at conference sections allowed us to collect and analyze valuable information on the latest market trends and technological achievements in the field of satellite telecommunications and Earth observation.

At the same time and the same place in Paris, GSS held a technical presentation of the existing Yamal satellites fleet for insurance market players, who can participate in satellite insurance and reinsurance during the operational lifetime of the satellites. At the meeting there was presented the required information on the general status of the satellites and their main on-board systems.

The work was continued in Amsterdam, at the world's most influential media, entertainment & technology show - IBC 2019, on September 13-17th. The exposition of the GSS was aimed to increase satellite capacity sales on the international market. There were signed new contracts expanding the use of the Yamal satellite capacity for maritime connectivity in the North Pacific Ocean as well as for SNG services in Africa. The agreements reached at the show will increase the company's revenues in the coming months.
